This is a "Living Museum" and model home for future Homes in America that will include African style. I am Anthony Elmore if you do not know me from Kickboxing you will know me as the man who dared to bring a true and positive education about Africa. Come to our home and enjoy African food, culture and family with us.
I am Bogalech Elmore and I came from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Memphis in 2006. My family are Falasha Jews in Ethiopia. I married Anthony and came to America to help build a better world. I will cook our wonderful Ethiopian food and share an education with you about Ethiopia and Africa. Click on picture to tour home.
One of our special guests will be Congressman Steve Cohen who first came here in 2007 in the above picture. Congressman Cohen mention about our Museum on the floor of Congress last year and he joined us here last July 10, 2009 Celebrating President Obama Visiting Ghana. Congressman Cohen arranged in March of 2010 for us to meet with the Ambassadors of Kenya, Ghana and Ethiopia. We want to build trade, education and partnership with Africa and we are arranging to take a plane load of Memphians to Kenya in 2011 to enjoy the President Obama history Tour. Kenya has more wildlife than anywhere the world. Elmore met former Kenya President Daniel Arap Moi and has taken many groups to Africa. I am Gabrielle Molten Parker and I am a Proud Liberian who lives in the Memphis area. I am a model and I a degree in Communications from Christian Brothers College. But most of all I am a "Master Cook" and an expert in Liberian food. You think you had "Soul Food I will cook real African soul food. More important I will be available to lecture on Liberia and you can ask me question about African cooking.
I am Timothy Mckay and one of the artist scheduled to perform. I learned drumming from the famous African drummer Juma who use to play with famed guitarist Jimmy Hendrix. I am a White man born to be an African drummer. I will teach in my presentation the subtleties of the African Drum. More important I come to share unity and friendship and I bring some culture and Art.
